How Gratitude Can Be Your Partner in Life
By: Sonia Devine
Are you constantly struggling with life? If so, you might be focusing on all the wrong things. Practising daily gratitude will help you to turn your life around. Want what you have and what you want will come to you!
Gratitude is one of the most important things you can practise if you want to manifest unlimited wealth. One of the best ways to keep abundance and wealth flowing into your life is to give thanks for what you have today. By focusing on what you already have, you allow yourself to receive even more, so it is really vital to practise true gratitude.
We live in a world that focuses on instant gratification. If we don't have the money for something that we want to buy right now, then all we have to do is go to the bank and they are more than happy to loan us the money. As a result, many people are inundated in debt, and they become trapped in a never ending cycle of wanting, buying, and then spiralling deeper in debt.
When we get stuck in this cycle, we are constantly wanting things that we don't have, and in the process, we forget to appreciate what we DO have; Every day, we remind ourselves of what we are missing in our lives, and we can't begin to grasp the concept of gratitude. Instead, we say:
"When I have everything I want...THEN I'll be grateful!"
But that is not the way the Universe works....
Are you always comparing what you have with what others have, or wishing you could have what is advertised on TV? Or perhaps the people who live next door have a better car, a nicer house and more "things to play with" than you. Of course, it doesn't help when pictures of the "perfect family" with the "perfect life" are right on that TV screen in front of you every day. Do you feel deprived, frustrated or angry because you don't have what seems to be on offer to everybody else?
Whatever your situation is, focusing on what is lacking in your life is the single most effective way to ensure that you remain in a state of scarcity.
You might ask this question: But How Can I Show Gratitude When I Don't Have What I Want Yet?. And that IS a good question; so here's a good answer: Make A Habit Of It.
Now, if you have become accustomed to only seeing scarcity all around you, then my guess is that gratitude will be the last thing on your mind. So the suggestion I am going to make may be difficult for you at first; I would even go as far as to say that you may feel a bit resentful about having to do it.
Some people don't want to take responsibility for the fact that they are not doing well financially. It's so much easier for us to blame other people and outside circumstances for our lack of wealth; because if it's all other people's fault,
then we don't have to do anything ourselves in order for "things to change".. right??
Well Okay, that's fine if you're happy for things to remain exactly as they are now. But if not, why not give this a go? You have everything to gain and nothing to lose! So make a commitment to change the way you see your life. Take stock of everything you have. You might be surprised and even amazed at all of the little things that you forgot are so special to you.
Begin by writing of all the positive things you have in your life. Who loves you? Who are your friends? What about your children. How do they light up your life? These are just a few things that we forget about that add so much value and joy to our lives.
Practising gratitude each day will remind you of the good things in your life. Now, I don't want to sound like a Pollyanna, but this is worth a try! If nothing else, it will help you feel better about your current life circumstances. Add something new to your gratitude list each day, and you'll be amazed at how many great things you will be able to think of once you develop this skill!
When you are grateful for everything you already have, you open yourself up to attract more great things. The Law Of Attraction always makes sure that this will happen. Thank the Universal Source for everything you currently have, and you will invite and allow even more prosperity to come to you. Make gratitude a part of your daily routine....and witness miracles in your life!

Decision making
By: Daniel Sitter
Decision making is actually a skill set that can be learned and refined. Like all skills, entering into a new area as a novice requires practice and application in order to improve. Keep in mind that you will indeed improve!
Start small, with less important decisions involving less than crucial outcomes and gradually make more decisions on matters of greater importance. Soon, you will have few if any issues with making decisions. Learn to start small and work your way up, gradually extending your comfort zone in this area. A by-product of learning these new skills is that your confidence will surely improve as well.
Decision making need not be frightening. Think of it as a process that is your own, shedding any external pressure that others may be applying. Take your time, get your facts and choose the outcome that works best for you.
Do not allow yourself to fall victim to the high cost of doing nothing.

The High Cost of Doing Nothing
By: Daniel Sitter
Cost is sometimes a difficult term to define. Here, we are not simply discussing cost as it relates to selling price, but rather opportunity cost.
The web site, "Mentors, Ventures and Plans" defines opportunity cost as "The loss of the next best alternative whenever a decision is made involving two or more options". "Investing in Options" defines it as "Choosing the best alternative means that you can't choose the next-best alternative.
Opportunity cost is the next-best alternative that must be sacrificed in order to get something else you want. Opportunity cost can be thought of as the road not taken." Inactivity, or doing nothing, is usually the highest price paid and is often associated with great opportunity cost. Inaction is usually the worst decision one can make, made from a base of fear.
Many of us freeze when facing decisions. For some reason, decision making becomes complex, paralyzing and even painful for many people. It should not be this way. Making a decision is simply the act of choosing between alternatives. You must learn to weigh the implications of each possible decision and choose the outcome that is best for you and all others involved. For example, when your telephone bill comes due, you may choose to pay it or not. There are real obvious consequences for both actions. The situation becomes more complex however, when our human emotions enter the picture. For instance; you are offered a new job and must decide to leave your current position and move your family to a new location, hundreds of miles away..
What we often fail to realize, is that delaying important decisions or simply not making a decision at all, are actions that often impact us with the highest opportunity costs and worst case scenarios. Inactivity, or the lack of a decision, is actually a decision made, although one seldom made in our best interests. In this case, we unfortunately transfer over control of our lives to external forces and circumstances. We are now positioned to be at the mercy and decision-making of others. This is not your best scenario. There are often unusually high costs associated with doing nothing.

How Thoughts Create Matter
By: Rasheed Ali
Did you ever have the feeling right before something good happened, that you knew it was going to happen?
Most people don't understand it, and think it's ESP or something like of that nature.
In the book Think And Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, he says "...thought, backed by strong DESIRE, has the tendency to transmute itself into its physical equivalent."
Very Powerful stuff!
As I like to say, "Matter is Merely Materialized Thought...So What Are You Thinking?"
Many people have asked me what that means, so here's an explanation...
Back in 1937 when Napoleon Hill published his book Think And Grow Rich, he knew something very powerful but, I'm not certain the science behind it was so well understood. Of course, the principle was very well understood and probably by Mr. Hill more than anyone!
Here's the short not too scientific explanation:
Everything we see on any given day is made up of not just cells or atoms but, of PURE ENERGY.
This energy is called Quanta (plural for Quantum). Keep in mind Quanta is the unit measure of pure energy. These Quanta are part of what Quantum Physics is based on.
This energy exists only when observed. (There are a lot of arguments about observation and they all have their validity but lets keep it simple.)
Scientists say that Quanta are not a reality but instead they are a probability that exist in any given point in time. So when a person focuses on (observes) a thing, it exists!
This is because this Quanta, is now formed into the thing whatever it may be.
Many scientist, Einstein included have proved that Quanta are not bound to space and time and can exist anywhere.
These scientists also understand that your mind, body and soul are also made up of these Quanta and Quanta are influenced by other Quanta.
In other words your mind and the minds of others, create and co-create everything through influencing Quanta!
Now here's the practical explanation:
Knowing now what your mind is capable of, if you were to focus your own energy into creating what you desire in your mind with crystal clarity, it will come to you at amazing speed!
Now, this creation process is not just thought. It is both thought and work! These two together seal the deal.
This is why many of the experts out there tell you that you just can't be scattered. You have to focus on your ultimate goal.
Guess what? They are all right! All of these things together solidify what you're thinking.
THIS my friend is the "Secret" behind all of the Goal setting, the Meditation, the Master-Minding, Learning, Persistence, Action, Desire and Faith that we all are told that we must have or do.
Without these, our thoughts are controlled by outside influence and we lose our clarity and focus.
Have you ever heard, a successful person talk about how fast success seemed to come to them and how well they did in no time flat? I've heard many of these. The reason is that they knew exactly what they wanted and worked toward it. Simple as that.
One such example is a man by the name of Matt Bacak - PowerfulPromoter.com who is actually one of the inspirations for this article. I was on a tele-seminar with Matt once and he talked about how everything came to him so fast, once he knew what he wanted and started working toward it. Matt didn't know it but, his thoughts triggered my thoughts and the creation of this article!
Make no mistake, that although there are scientific explanations for the creation of matter through observation; WHO do you think created the matter in the mirror?
After all do you think that science didn't have a master observer?
Finally with that said...
Be cautious of your thoughts, they have the power to create!

A Person is Only Limited by the Thoughts He Chooses
By: Daniel N Brown
Many of the circumstances in a person's life are often produced by him, or her self.
I believe we each create our own luck, whether it be good or bad. Consciously, or unconsciously, we may have at some time or another, produced our own conditions, desirable, or undesirable, either in our bodily health or other circumstances.
Many of these conditions in our lives, whether they be favorable or unfavorable, are largely determined by our beliefs.
You may not accept that. You might be like a lot of people that I have encountered that make excuses. Making excuses and casting blame only make us out to be the victim. There is absolutely no power in playing the part of a victim.
I know we each experience our own individual successes and failures because of our beliefs.
Our beliefs definitely determine the quality of our lives. The amount of money we earn is determined by our beliefs. We each earn the income we do today because of the beliefs we maintain. Simply because it is the amount we have limited ourselves to earn. We possibly could earn five, ten, twenty times, or more if we did not limit ourselves through our beliefs.
Don't believe that's true? Surely you know people who earn much more than you who don't have your education, your skills, or your intelligence. So why do they earn more than you?
It is a fact that one's belief system is ultimately responsible for whether they live a successful life or not. So, it would do each one of us good to get an understanding of our individual beliefs.
It starts with our thoughts. Our thoughts are what our belief system is composed of, and it is our beliefs that ultimately dictate the outcome of every area of our lives.
Your true beliefs are a sum total of all of your accumulated experiences over the course of your life. They create your expectations for future experiences, and your expectations are really nothing more than your current pattern of thought.
Your thoughts have brought you to where you are right now. But, you are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted by you as the best you can do at this moment. Any time you're ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life, you're capable of doing that by choosing different thoughts.
The "how" is the easy part. It's the "believing" part that trips up most people.

What's Your Excuse for Not Being Successful in Life?
By: David Neese
Excuses! Excuses! When we fail to do something we are expected to do, we almost always have an excuse for it. However, if we analyze it closely, an excuse is a self-destructive alibi for having failed to do something, especially when it involves attaining a goal. Instead of trying to persevere in finding ways to continue achieving a goal, some of us resort to excuses.
Even a handicap cannot be used as an excuse. Many handicapped but determined people have become achievers and champions. Instead of using a handicap as an excuse, let us turn it into an asset. Let us explore this further.
A handicap need not be a reason for failure. On the contrary, a handicap can be a reason for success. People with a handicap always have an offsetting strength that allows them to overcome problems better than others.
A person with a handicap has one obsession - to lead a normal life. Depending on the handicap, a person would prefer to be as independent as possible. So he struggles and finds ways to overcome his impediment. When he is able to achieve his goal, this raises his self-esteem. In turn, he inspires others.
Everybody has handicaps in varying forms and degree. That is why; it requires effort and determination to overcome them. Handicaps can either be physical, financial, or emotional. And they can either be real or imagined.
Whenever we look at a handicap, we almost always look on the negative side only. It's about time we take a look at the positive side of it. The positive side may be the difficult side, but it's the one worth looking into. It's the side that is going to lead us to excel in life.
If you think your handicap is physical, like having a weak body, you can counteract this through proper diet and training exercises. As long as the physical parts of your body are intact and mobile, there's no reason why you cannot make it strong and useful. Why? Even those without a leg (for example) can be made to walk or run normally. With the advancement of science, artificial legs can help a handicap function with great mobility.
If your handicap is financial, then the more reason you have to rise above your present status. And if your financial status limits your educational attainment to improve your life, the school is not the only place to learn. Certainly, there are help centers to get you started even from zero level. Once you are initially warmed up with the basics of an education, the rest is up to you. Make use of libraries. Once you are educationally equipped, use your brain and come up with creative ideas to improve your life.
If you are emotionally disturbed with negative thoughts, it is like you are sitting on a chair with wobbling legs. Try sitting on a chair with sturdy legs; meaning, look at the bright, positive side of life. Put aside negativity and start thinking positively. The only one who can stop you is yourself.
If your handicap is a combination of any of the physical, financial, or emotional type, congratulations. You should strive more to overcome them, because a double layer of perseverance results to more than double the achievement. Where the odds are greater, the prize gets much bigger. After all the efforts you have exerted, the prize of success shall be a well-deserved one.
So what's your excuse for not being successful?
Even a handicap cannot be used as an excuse. Many handicapped but determined people have become achievers and champions. Instead of using a handicap as an excuse, let us turn it into an asset. Let us explore this further.

The First Steps to Manifesting the Life You Want
By: Gabriele Sogka Reign
We all want to live the life we imagine for ourselves. The difficulty for many is that they aren't aware of how to turn what they imagine into a physical reality. You already have the tools within you already; it's simply a matter of using those tools on purpose. What are these innate tools? They are our thoughts, our words, and our feelings. Sounds simple, but is it? Yes, it is simple. Initially, it may not be easy however. It takes practice to use them wisely and with power. But I get ahead of myself. With the intention of finally living the life you really want to live, and the determination to stay on task, to really pay attention to each tool, you will, sooner than later, be living the very dream that has be elusive up until now. Within each thought you think, you have created an energy that thought carries with it. With each word you speak, to yourself or to others, there is the energy within that word. And within each emotion, is carried an energy that goes out before you.
Conscious awareness of you being part of, and born of, the energy of the creative forces of this Universe is an important awareness to have. It is said that the reason we feel separated from the Creator or Source (as I prefer to define God), is that we believe we are separated. It's the belief in the separation that creates the separation. When you consciously decide that you are connected to that force which created you, you have an entirely different, expanded perception from which to live your life. Suddenly, there are more possibilities, new opportunities; your challenges have less power than they previously had, and the very quality of your life is enhanced and enriched.
Know that the substance of the Universe constantly flows through each particle of your being. How you think and speak and feel are the most powerful tools you possess to help you realize that the energy of the Universe does in fact flow through you, and as you. That substance is always flowing through each aspect of your being, through every part of your life. It's simply a matter of being aware of that: by choosing to be aware of it, you begin to be aware of that universal substance as the experience and as the expression of your life, of you. So now that you're aware that you have the tools of thought, words and feelings already, how do you use them to create your life as you would like to live it?
Energy flows through your thoughts, Notice the quality of energy that accompanies your thoughts. How do you discover what that quality is? Simply by asking yourself to notice what quality the energy of your thought is made of. Are my thoughts empowering me, inspiring me, supporting my dreams? Are my thoughts encouraging, myself and others? Do they help me to see beyond my current circumstances or are they dwelling on the dense energy of an unpleasant circumstance? Do these thoughts keep me down or lift me up?
Energy flows through your words, Notice the quality of energy that accompanies your words. Are the words I'm speaking in alignment with what I would like in my life? Or, are my words reminding me of what I don't have that I do want? Are the words I speak highlighting the absence of my desires or are they highlighting the possibilities of my dreams becoming my reality?
Energy flows through your feelings, Emotions are your energy in motion. Your feelings are a very important indicator of the vibration, depleting or uplifting, that you're holding in this moment. You can be aware of the energy of your feelings by asking yourself, "Are my feelings aligned with what I want or with what I'm not yet living? Do I reach to find a feeling that inspires me, that makes me feel good and that brings more joy to me? Or do I continue to feel the lack I have experienced in my life? Am I choosing to feel good?"
As you are born of the creative/creator forces of this Universe, you are a creator. You are creating every moment, in every moment, and as every moment, it's important to command of yourself to make the most of what you're creating. Check, and then calibrate the quality of your energy.
Thought, Word, Feeling, these are the tools with which you create. And since you are the qualifying factor of your creation, you can understand and experience that as you create, and as you send forth that creation, the vibration of like energy returns to you, expanded.
Armed with this knowledge and the understanding that you are creating with the very energy of the Universe, you are actually molding that very energy by consciously deciding to choose the particular quality or qualities you want as part of your energy.
Knowing the value of your own energy and using it, on purpose, is the first step in understanding how to manifest into physical form the life you've always imagined for yourself. Is it not time you create the quality of life you wish to experience? You will be changing your world, you will be changing the world.

How Enthusiasm Can Help You Reach Your Goals
By: Arina Nikitina
If enthusiasm can be bought as an item from a store, do you think it will sell? And if it does, just how much are you willing to pay for it?
I believe your response will be: "You must be kidding. It'll be a sellout. The store might probably run out of stock, you'll have to wait in queue for a long time before you can get your order no matter the price."
Just how important is enthusiasm in goal realization; in one's life? It is so important that it occupies one of the top slots in the list of elements needed for successful living. It is so important that it is one of the deciding factors to realize one's goal.
There is no doubt that everyone likes talking to enthusiastic people, unless a person likes to be in a gloomy state, which I doubt that person does. Enthusiastic people keep the conversation alive and upbeat. You feel like you are partying. And when you feel like partying, you'd wish the night will never end.
Enthusiasm brings out the hyper character in us. It is like adding more wood to a bonfire making you feel like you want to roast marshmallows in it. Honestly, as I am writing this, I'm beginning to be more enthusiastic myself.
The point is, enthusiasm is contagious like a disease. This is one contagious disease that has a desirable effect. Matter of fact, enthusiasm is the only disease everybody wants to contract. If there is a category in the Guinness Book of World Records of being the contagious disease most people would like to have with them, it is enthusiasm. Law enforcers would probably ban quarantine of this disease.
Now, just how do you get enthusiastic especially when your surroundings, the weather condition, and the general situation feels down and out?
Here are some helpful tips to develop enthusiasm:
- Adopt the "as if" principle. It is believed that this was first stated by Professor William James, at times known as the father of American Psychological Science. This is an effective time and people tested principle.
I would suggest at this point that you try to apply the "as if" principle with someone near or beside you to confirm its effectiveness.
Think creatively.
Another similar principle is the "what if". If you are in the business of developing products of specialized use, you are most likely exposed to a lot of experimentation. When you come up with an idea on a product you'd like to try even if the idea seems unconventional, would you try it? Would you be saying to yourself: "What if I try to... "
- Adapt enthusiasm into the "practice makes perfect" principle. In other words, be enthusiastic on almost everything you do every day no matter how insignificant they are, no matter how small they are. All those small things when added up become big. This is the "as if" principle in small ways.
- As you wake up each morning, be enthusiastic about the things you are going to do that day. Bring enthusiasm to even the routinely morning chores like taking a shower, getting dressed, eating breakfast, taking the bus or driving your car (even in heavy traffic), in the office up to the time you reach home for dinner till you go to bed, enthusiastically looking forward to tomorrow.
- Remember that each day in your life is God's gift to you. Show your appreciation to Him for the gift you receive by being nice to other people, helping others and thanking Him through prayers.

You Choose to React or Respond
By: Daniel Sitter
Choices abound. Sometimes choices confound us, while at other times, certain choices are rather obvious. Any way you approach the subject, choices present opportunities to either excel or hinder. As human beings, we were endowed by our Creator with the power of choice. It is one of the factors that differentiate persons from animals. Some people make these choices or decisions more easily than others.
Each day, we must decide how we will spend our precious twenty four hours and deal with all that the world presents to us. We choose how we will be affected by both everyday occurrences and those that are much more extraordinary. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we choose to either react or respond. These are not the same, for one is negative and one is positive. Which we choose may have a significant impact on our life and possibly those close to us.
Reacting to outside influences, usually beyond our control is generally a negative choice. Reacting implies that we have given charge of the situation to someone or something else. We surrender our input and any control in the matter. We are now at the mercy of the situation and are forced to be in reaction mode where we are constantly dodging bullets and expending great amounts of energy just to stay afloat. In reacting to a situation, we do not anticipate that which is to come because we are too busy handling the present. The future then surprises us and the whole mess begins again.
Responding to a situation is a positive choice. It is the opposite of reacting. It is proactive and anticipates that which is yet to come. Responding is preceded by thought and often prayer. In responding, we take charge and have command over how the situation impacts us. We also have control over how it affects us internally. We decide upon the level of personal impact.
Our lives, families, careers and other everyday activities and interests are operating at breakneck speeds and appear at times to be accelerating. One thing is for certain, the old days of sitting around on the front porch each evening listening to Mother Nature are gone for many of us. The pace of life in Mayberry, as healthy and tranquil as it would appear, is unfortunately a thing of the past. We live life on the fast track.
A major news weekly magazine is currently featuring material devoted to stress and distress in our lives and their effects on our cardiovascular health. Although not totally surprising, this information is disturbing. How did we ever get to this point? Witness the number of television commercials and magazine advertisements for gastric distress, acid reflux, anxiety, depression, headaches and other ailments that are increasing in frequency. There are millions of prescriptions written each day for these medical conditions, most of which will find their roots in internalized stress and distress.
People spend many hours of their lives worrying. Worry is a senseless, energy-robbing activity that has engulfed many. No one has ever benefited from worry, yet countless people engage in it. Worry is the opposite of faith. Worry is negative while faith is positive. There is no mystery here. Many books have been written on the subject. The conclusions are the same: "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and "Stop Worrying and Start Living" are among the many themes presented. Good advice indeed.
Most areas of life present us with choices. We must choose either to respond or react to circumstances. We choose whether or not to worry. Learn to be aware that you have a choice in these matters. Learn that there are ways that you can deal with everything either positively or negatively. Learn that your choices may influence your very health, both physical and mental. Learn that there will be costs associated with poor choices, worrying and negativity in general. These may include social, monetary, peace of mind and time costs. Certainly, the total cost associated with negative choices is too high.
Learn that positively responding to circumstances in life will significantly reduce or eliminate worry and contribute to your overall good health and well being. Find joy in life. Be happy.

A Change Will Do You Good
By: Sharron Myers
As the last rays of summer's warmth ebb away and the gentle breezes of autumn waft themselves upon us, we recognize once again, that change is inevitable. Nature is constantly changing and yet, so many people have the notion that change is frightening.
People are creatures of habit and some find it difficult to adjust to changes that are certain to come our way. Life is like an old, comfortable pair of shoes. We may realize that we need new ones and we may even find new ones we really like, but, we know that changing will cause us discomfort for a little while until we break them in.
Sometimes we need to realize that life isn't always easy. What may be better for us is not what we are used to, but it is certainly worth the trouble of breaking in new habits and lifestyle changes.
Change does not have to be painful. Just look to nature and it will give you clues to how change can be effortless. The beautifully colored autumn leaves do not hang on to the old tree for dear life. No, they yield to the changes with ease and float gently off the tree.
With the coming of autumn we have been busy in our gardens pulling up the old stuff and getting ready for a time of rest. We know that the ground must rest and next year there will be more wonderful things in our garden to delight us.
Are there things in your life that need to be gently eased out of your life? Maybe there are bad relationships or habits or thoughts that need to be weeded out of your life. Don't be afraid to do a little gardening in your own life.
Every gardener knows that unless we get to the roots, we really are not getting rid of the problem. It may go away for awhile but unless we get to the root, it will sneak back into the garden very quickly.
Although the harvest time is here there is no time to stop weeding the garden of our minds. This garden needs constant attention in order for us to flourish and be all that we can be. The only way to keep this garden in top shape is to make sure that no weeds are there trying to strangle any good we are trying to do. The weeds of our mind, of course are negative thoughts that like to creep in and keep us from achieving that which we are striving for.
William James said, "Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.
How do we change the inner attitudes of our minds? By changing the way we think. We must put fear and negativity behind us. How, you ask? Just as the leaves of autumn gently blow from the tree, don't try and make a change in your thinking overnight and expect to get instant results. We cannot rip these thoughts out of our minds, as much as we would like to sometimes. No, we need to be gentle on ourselves and let positive thoughts replace the negative.
Yes it will take some work on your part. You must constantly fill your mind with positive thoughts. Proverbs 27: 3 says, As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. We are what we think. When the negative thoughts come into your mind, you must be ready and willing to replace those thoughts with positive ones. Just say to yourself, no, I won't let that thought take over my mind, I will think positively. Affirmations are good to have readily available so you can replace the negative thought with the positive one. It won't be easy, it won't be hard either, it will just be different, like that new pair of shoes we were talking about earlier.
The autumn leaves fall to make way for new life. We too must go through changes that will bring new growth to our bodies, souls and spirits.
Change is inevitable, so why fight it? Why be afraid of it? Yes, change will require us to do a bit of readjusting but it is always worth it. Don't be afraid of change, a change will do you good.

Get Anything You Want By Changing Your Thinking!
Money is hard to get for most people. Money can be easy to get for other people. Why is that?
Growing up we aren't taught the proper way of thinking about money. High school doesn't teach us anything useful about it. College doesn't teach any real-world knowledge either. And our parents don't teach us how to think properly about it because they've never been exposed to the laws of attraction that govern the accumulation of money.
Wealthy people know how to THINK about money in the correct way. They learn the proper way of thinking about it to attract it to them. The have discovered the natural laws of attraction that affect how much money enters into their lives. And anyone can learn how to put these laws of attraction to use to increase the amount of money they accumulate.
You may laugh this concept off and say it's b.s., but believe me, wealthy people know the power of these truths. A wealthy person who knows how to think the proper way to attract money can lose every dime they have and by applying these natural laws they can become wealthy again in a short period of time. It happens all the time.
HOW CAN YOU ATTRACT MORE MONEY?
By changing your way of thinking...
Let's take a closer look at the natural laws of attraction concerning money. These laws can be used for finances, relationships, health, and any other area of your life. If you continuously think about how little money you have, how hard it is to pay the bills, and how difficult it is to earn more money guess what will happen? You will continue to have only a little money, continue to struggle to pay the bills, and continue to earn what you now earn.
Why is this? Because the natural laws of attraction promise us we get what we think about. If you always focus your thinking on your lack of money you will always have that lack. If you always think about struggling to pay the bills you will always struggle. You get what you think about and this is a truth you cannot escape.
How can you change your thinking about money and put these powerful natural laws of attraction to use? It's a simple process, but it's not easy. It takes a concentrated effort throughout the entire day on your part to consciously realize how you've always thought about money and then make the effort necessary to begin to think differently.
THE IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDE.
The first step in learning to use the laws of attraction is to be GRATEFUL for what you now have in your life. If you have food, shelter, and clothing you have the basis to change your life by changing your thinking. If you have a decent job, a comfortable place to live, good running vehicle, good family, and some creature comforts you need to take a deep, hard look at these things. You need to write down everything good in your life and realize you could have a lot less than you now have.
You need to be very grateful for these things you possess. Most people aren't grateful for what they already have because they are always thinking about what they don't have. To be grateful for what you now have imagine that you lost everything TOMORROW! You must start over without anything you now possess. You have no job, no home, and no vehicle. Believe me, it happens. Does this thought help move you to be thankful and grateful for what you now have? It should.
It doesn't matter if you earn $15,000, $25,000, or $75,000+ per year. Once you are grateful for what you have your thinking begins to "shift" from your previous way of thinking. You realize how fortunate you are compared to other people. You begin to have an "awareness" of your thinking, and your life, you did not have previously. This awareness opens you up to the next step in the law of attraction.
EXPECTING MORE MONEY IN YOUR LIFE.
The next step in putting the natural laws of attraction to use for you involves "expectation." It's now time to concentrate your thinking on expecting more good things and more money to come into your life. You now consciously "shift" your thinking away from what you don't have and concentrate on what you want. You concentrate on being grateful for all the good things that are on their way to you. Even though they may not be here yet you know in your mind they are coming to you. When you constantly are thinking and focusing on more money coming to you guess what happens? More good things, opportunities, and money begin to show up in your life.
You are no longer focusing all your thoughts on what you don't have and what a struggle your life is. You get what you think about. You're now focusing on the good things in your life and you're open to receive the abundance that is on its way to you. You have "shifted" your thinking from the bad to the good and this is very powerful. This opens you up to the laws of attraction and they begin to work in your life.
LEARNING AND GROWING.
What you have just read is very powerful information. You may never have been exposed to this way of thinking. Don't feel bad, because most people have never been taught to think this way. We've all heard of thinking positively, but learning about the laws of attraction are much deeper and more powerful than positive thinking. If you can "see" the truth in this way of thinking and can "shift" your daily thoughts to focus on the good things you now have and expect more to come to you then you must take time to learn more about this new way of thinking.
There are many books and websites that will help you to grow. You need to read and learn. This short article cannot provide you will all you need to make these changes. It's difficult to think this way throughout your day, but the more you do it the easier it gets. You will eventually think this way all the time and at that point your life is changing drastically.

Is the Law of Attraction Real? What is the Real Secret?
Everyone is lured in by the thought of easy money, especially today. Personal debt is at an all time high and personal savings haven't been this low since the Great Depression. The Law of Attraction seems to promise wealth and abundance simply by thinking about it. Easy money right? Could the Law of Attraction be simply a myth? The truth is out there but it's not what you think.
If you have been to the bookstore lately or checked Amazon's top seller list you will notice that there are several books that are based on the Law of Attraction. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne is one of the most popular right now. Why are these types of books so popular now? I believe it's because people are looking for a way out of the financial messes and the chaos of everyday life today. In our efforts to be more productive and to live up to some fictitious standard we have set for ourselves, we have over complicated our lives and are now getting ready to crash and burn. We have been spoiled and have the "I want it now" syndrome. We want a simpler life, a more meaningful life and we want it now. We want to be wealthy, we want to be debt free, travel the world and we want it now. These books seem to promise and easy way to our dreams.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with these wishes. They are indeed wishes that will lead us in the right direction. The problem is that we can't have them right now just by wishing for them. So is the Law of Attraction a myth? I don't believe it is entirely a myth. I do believe there is energy out there that we can not see but we can tap into if we know how. There is a greater consciousness that holds the answers to all questions and guides the way to all dreams. However, it's not as simple as sitting down and telling yourself that you really want a million dollars and "poof" it's attracted to you. Unfortunately, it is being portrayed that way, like easy money.
The Truth to the Secret
If there is something that you really want, say a million dollars. You should think about it everyday. You should right down your goal. You should brainstorm ideas everyday that will be leading you in the direction of your goal. Make a list of the things you do everyday that are not leading towards your goal. If your goal is to get your bedroom clutter free than is sitting on the couch and watching soap operas getting you closer to your dream? Now some will say," You need some time for yourself and to relax". That's true; you do need to relax at times. That's when meditation is good and plays a crucial role. Meditating will help you to relax and clear your mind from the daily troubles. Most importantly it helps clear away the clutter in your mind and lets you find a clearer, simpler path to what you seek. The answers are already there, you already know the solution to your problem. You just have to relax and listen.
Once you have relaxed it's time to get back to working towards your goal. The more you work towards your goal the more things will start to fall into place and the more opportunities you will see. Is it the Law of Attraction that has made these opportunities available to you? Could it be that you are so focused on your dream and really involved in making it a reality that your eyes are just opened to the opportunities that were always there but you couldn't see them? I think it's more the later.
Take for example two women that want to get their homes clean and clutter free. The clutter is overwhelming them and their husbands are getting very annoyed. They are embarrassed to have anyone over. They both work full time and have two children.
Woman A is very determined about her dream to have a clean home. She thinks about it everyday. She has sat down and made a list of what needs to be done and has figured out the best way to accomplish it. Even though she is tired when she comes home she is determined to make her dream a reality. So, she spends a half hour cleaning a particular room every evening. She devises a routine to keep the rooms clean. She starts having the kids pick up their own clothes and be responsible for their own rooms. She asks her husband to help clean the garage out and to help do the dishes at night so she can have a few more minutes to clean.
As the family sees her get serious about cleaning they get in on the act too. Woman A finds that she needs a bunch of boxes to take stuff to the thrift shop. As she is driving home from work the next day she sees a bunch of clean boxes that someone has thrown out and she brings them home. Was that the Law of Attraction working or did she just know what she needed and therefore her mind was on the lookout to fulfill that need?
It doesn't happen overnight but eventually her hard work pays off and her house is clutter free and beautiful. It makes her feel so much better and her husband and children are happy too. There is no more stress about finding things because everything is organized. Her routine is simple to keep the house looking good and she can relax and take it easy. Life is easier and the stress of knowing that the house needs to be cleaned up is gone.
Now let's take woman B. She too wants her home clean. However, she just complains that the task is just too overwhelming; she doesn't know where to start. She says that she'll clean on the weekend but when the weekend comes she says that she wants to spend time with the kids and relax for awhile. On a day off from work she watches TV and looks around her at the clutter and just feels bad and tells herself that she will never have a clean home. Then she goes shopping to make herself feel better and just comes home with more stuff to fill up her house and has spent more money on nothing.
Her husband and children never help out because they see no motivation on her part. In their eyes she obviously doesn't want the house to be clean that much or else she'd be doing something about it. Nothing is ever attracted to her to help her out because she's not looking. That same pile of boxes was probably there for her too but she drove right by them because she didn't know what she needed. She will never reach her dream and the strain on the marriage and family will always be there like an anchor.
So was there some mysterious force at work attracting things to woman A or was she just simply focused and determined and took the time to clear her thoughts to find a simple path to her dream. Once you get working on something then things do seem to just fall into place. It's getting started that can be the problem. You must force yourself to take action. Sitting and wishing for you dream alone will do nothing to attract it to you. Work for it and it will appear.
So is there some magical thing out there that you can pray to that will make your dreams come true? I don't think so. I believe there is a Law of Attraction but I think it is simply stated this way... if you are determined and are focused on your goal. If you live every minute of your life working towards your goal in some form, then you will know exactly what you need to fulfill your dream and your mind will be on the lookout for it. So opportunities that you never saw before suddenly jump out at you. I don't think this is so much attraction as it is focused attention and energy.
When you have accomplished your goal then you can really relax. You will finally be where you wanted to be instead of relaxing and watching soap operas or football and still wishing you were living your dream. The secret is that nothing comes easy... it just comes easier to those who actively seek what they are looking for.

Exercises for Self Growth
As Psychic/Medium I get people coming to me all the time who do not know how to step forward and nurture their spirit the white cup exercise is a simple way to do just that. I also provide tips for those caught in what I term the bumper car effect
The white cup (mug etc)
Some times we are like an empty cup. We struggle to have a sense of self and say out loud things like " why does my life feel empty" or why can't I make friends". Our soul or our inner world is a cup we fill up with love. Some people have so much it overflows you will know them by the joy you feel in their presence. Some people have so little love their cup is almost dry you will know them by the gray cloud of gloom that follows where-ever they go. What happens when the cup is empty? Often we look to others to fill it and end up in dysfunctional relationship always wanting something from the other person or conversely blaming them for the way we feel. The white cup exercise is about learning to fill your own cup so it overflows with joy and happiness.
1. Purchase a white coffee mug and a black permanent marker
2. Every day think of something you can do for yourself. For example take a long bath or go to the movies or start a class or join a group or simply walk on the beach or go for coffee with a friend or meditate
3. Every time you do something draw a line on the mug making your way up to the top. You are basically watching your cup fill up and very soon it will be overflowing.
DON'T STOP when you reach the top rather use the mug as a reminder to nurture your self physically emotionally and spiritually.
The Bumper car effect
When you step into a bumper car at the fair it feels like no matter which way you turn someone or something hits you when you least expect it. The problem with the bumper cars is you never get time to find your balance or find some space to figure out the best way to go. Here are a few ideas about what you can do when you start to feel this way:
1. Let go of any need to 'fix' things. Let go of any resentment, anger, guilt or shame that has built up.
2. Let go of any expectations in regards to outcomes and other peoples behavior
3. Take a moment or a day to breath ... .put aside issues for awhile focus on things which bring you back into balance.
4. Ask for help. Sometimes we cling to things so tightly so intent on fixing them for ourselves we don't allow anyone to help carry the load so we can gain our balance.
Things to remember:
Everyone no matter what their life circumstance, race, religion or sexual preference was born a Master.

How to Be Successful in Life
Everyone wants to achieve the highest level of success. However, reaching that desirable level of success is not as easy as most of us perceive. To be successful, you have to sacrifice and forego majority of life's pleasures. Below is a list of seven guaranteed ways to be successful in life.
1. Do what you love
Unfortunately, most of us end up settling for jobs or careers that do not offer maximum satisfaction. Put simply, it is important to understand your passion and pursue it with all your energy and resources. The greatest regret held by a majority of the elderly is settling for what they did not love. To avoid having regrets on most of your early life decisions, be sure to pursue your passion. Doing what you love will ensure you remain passionate and highly motivated in your day to day activities regardless of the income. Be sure to discover your true purpose and work hard to achieve your goals.
2. Identify with a successful individual
As you look to achieve your dreams and initially set goals, ensure you remember that success has no secret recipe. It is advisable to identify with a successful person in your field of interest, and do whatever your mentor does to achieve his or her level of success. Once you have a role model or a mentor you associate with, it becomes easier to emulate the positive traits while learning from your mentor`s mistakes. Pick up the positive habits and ensure you avoid the mistakes made by your role model. By emulating a successful person, you increase your chances of succeeding exponentially.
3. Anticipate failure of disappointment
Good things never come easy, and if they do, then they probably won't last. Do not anticipate a smooth sailing in your journey to success. Instead, be ready to pick yourself up whenever you experience failure or disappointment. After all, successful people are characterized by their ability to remain hopeful even in their greatest disappointments. Therefore, regardless of how many times you fail, ensure you remain optimistic and confident in your ability to succeed.
4. Practice makes perfect
No one can succeed without commitment and adequate practice. To achieve the highest level of success in your respective field, it is necessary to take your time to practice until your skills become flawless. Contrary to popular belief, success is attained by maintaining a high level of consistency. Thus, to enjoy success, you must be willing to put time into strengthening your skills through constant practice.
5. Plan
Unfortunately, most of us assume that success happens overnight. However, success more often than not occurs as a result of adequate planning and organization. To achieve your set goals and targets, it is crucial to have a plan that will act as a guide. Successful people know what to do and when to do things; they just don't go about doing everything simultaneously. As a result, be sure to take your time and adequately plan for all your milestones. Set a schedule and observe it to the latter. Once you have a plan in place, it will be possible to measure your progress and consequently ensure that everything goes according to plan.
6. Be true to yourself
As you embark on your journey to success, it is necessary to understand that the biggest obstacle to success is yourself. Procrastination never helps; in fact, all it does is rob you off the time that you would otherwise utilize to achieve your goals. Therefore, ensure you are hard on yourself. That is, avoid procrastinating or letting yourself off the hook whenever you lack the motivation to do an important activity. Without self-discipline, it is impossible to achieve your set goals.
7. Enjoy the journey
Always keep in mind that everyone has an independent journey and purpose. Avoid comparing yourself to others as aimless comparisons can derail your development. Be patient and ensure you reward yourself every time you achieve your goals or initially set milestones. Indeed, it is only through self-love and appreciation that you can achieve the highest level of success. As such, give yourself treats and rewards that match your achievements. Remember, if you do not appreciate your achievements, no matter how small, then no one else will.

Are You Where You Want to Be in Life?
Are you where you want to be in life - financially, health-wise, relationships or your career? Silly question? I don't think so. I've asked myself this question dozens of times during my life and I have to admit more often than not the answer to one of the life areas was - no.
In life, you can only be one of three places (I'm being general here) - where you were or have been, where you are now and where you will be in the future. I know this might at first seem a bit confusing but think about it - for example - where are you now - in your car, your office your kitchen or backyard - the simple answers.
Where do you want to be tomorrow - the hard answers - because here's where it can get a bit tricky. But, keep this question in mind generally - don't get into the weeds about every single life area - just consider the bigger picture of your life. For example in the future - you want to be with someone or someone different, you want to be working somewhere else or retired, you want to be better off financially or you want to rid yourself of this current negative health condition that is plaguing you now - yes there are hundred's more questions like these - I used these to keep the process but not necessarily the results - simple.
Here's the challenge. You will ultimately be where today takes you - so if you want to be somewhere different tomorrow you have to take the action to get there - today. Fail to take it and tomorrow you will be in the same place you are now - and again to be clear - I'm not talking here about whether you are in your car or the kitchen, I'm confident if you are still reading you have figured out the subtleties I am trying to share.
So, where do you want to be that's a different place tomorrow? Go ahead take a minute and jot down a few items like - better or different; job, relationship, where you live, what you drive, who your friends are, how healthy you are, your financial condition- go ahead - write them down - as many as you can - trust me you can't get there if you are not clear about where "there" is. And why - well if you don't know what they are what do you think the chances are they things will change or be different tomorrow than they are today?
I will guarantee that everyone wants something better, new or different tomorrow in some area of their life - to be younger, to be with different people, to be living someplace new, etc. Whether it's a small difference or a major one is not the issue - what is the issue - is your willingness to either let go of the wish, goal, plan or desire - essentially give up or settle - OR to take the necessary moves or steps today to get there or to start to make it happen.
Why do people wish for something better or different and then do nothing to get there? Why do they settle? Why do they give up or in? Why do they quit? I could go on for hours or pages but how about just three (yes there are many more) quick reasons; 1) The fear of the unknown future - will it really be better or different or should I just stay where I am? Can I control the future? What if it doesn't turn out the way I hoped? 2)The fear of rejection or failure - what if I try and don't succeed?
What if I go for it and people laugh at me for doing so at this stage or time in my life? 3)The fear of success. What if I do go for it and get it or achieve it and it doesn't live up to my expectations or needs?
What if I go for it and people laugh at me for doing so at this stage or time in my life? 3)The fear of success. What if I do go for it and get it or achieve it and it doesn't live up to my expectations or needs?
Here's the major problem that you are facing if you have any of these three fears - you are tending to define your future by your past or present; experiences, attitudes, outcomes, choices, etc. In other words, you have always struggled financially so why expect that the future will be any different. You have always been disappointed in relationships so why should you anticipate that the future will be better or different? Everyone, you know in your age group, gender, race, religion, etc. has never done what you want to do? Got it - with these mindsets you are letting the decisions or choices of others or your past rule your ultimate future.
No one knows what is around the next corner whether you are broke or a millionaire, stupid or the smartest person in the room, healthy or really sick, beautiful or handsome or ugly as sin, etc. No one knows how actions, choices, decisions or anything will be or turn out tomorrow. It's all about desire, faith, courage, passion, effort, and acceptance and yes - resilience, self-trust, patience, and hope. If you don't have these - stay stuck. If you have them - go for it.

Good Days or Bad Days
Ever had a bad day... a good one? Had more bad ones than good ones in a week or month? Had more good ones in a year than you feel you deserved? Dumb questions? Well, trust me I have a lot more, but I'll save them for another time but let me ask you two more... How do you define good and bad? And, in the end, which ones helped you grow, learn, become or contribute more to others? More dumb questions? I don't think so but I'm writing this article so the real answers are up to you, but I would ask you to finish reading before you decide on your answers. So here goes.
What's a good day?
So, today - you got a raise, didn't get a flat tire, had lunch with friends, had a wonderful date night with your spouse, got a text from your Doc. and he said you have a clean bill of health and the good stuff just kept on coming - all in all - a good day.
What's a bad day? You got bad news from your dentist, the AC in your car crashed, you lost your favorite - whatever - your kids got in trouble in school and yes, so much more.
So, let me ask you - who or what is in charge or in control of your day - you or the stuff that happens during the day? In other words, when good stuff happens you have a good day and when bad stuff happens, well it's a bad day. See where I'm going with this. If the stuff that happens determines whether your day is a good one or a bad one - you are not in control of your day - your day (the stuff that happens) is in control of you.
Here's the bigger problem - the same could be said of weeks, months or even years. Are you having a good year or a bad one? Are you having a good life or a bad one? I mean I could go on and on with this crap but I'm sure you have got it by now. All I'm asking is as you go through life, no matter how long or short it is or what happens or what doesn't or what you get or what you lose, etc. - who or what is in control?
My observations over the years having spoken on 25 countries and met thousands of people around the world is simply that the majority of people are not in control of their days, oh if you asked them all, they think they are and would say they are, but watch how they react or respond to the stuff that happens throughout the day or week, etc. and then ask yourself the simple question - who or what do you think is in control of their life? A better question is which is in control of your days/life?
Here's a thought - stop labeling your days as good or bad, just be glad you got another one cause do you know how many people die every day in this world - well it's over 150,000 - you weren't one of them today so - today is a good day?
Here's another thought - generally we learn little from the good days or good stuff that happens on what we call good days. It's the perceived bad days, events, situations, people or circumstances that we call or define as bad that often give us the greatest opportunities for faster growth, new learning, new creative ideas or solutions, and overall increased wisdom. So, consider that the bad days, in the end, might actually be better than the good days - what an amazing concept - but you might want to keep it to yourself as sharing it with others - well, they might think you have gone off the deep end.
